Pinterest & SEO; Are you PINing for more?

Pinterest & SEO: Keep PINing and you will be rewarded soon….’cause PINterest is going to fulfil your desires by making it very easy to bring home the PINs that you have been pining for.

Within the next few weeks, if you are based out of USA, you will be able to buy some of the PINs that you have been pining for at PINterest.

In the near future Pinterest & SEO will create a tremendous business opportunity by optimizing pins that will create a lot of relevant traffic.

How will Pinterest & SEO work?

Pinterest is partnering with Shopify and Demandware to enable buying directly from Pinterest. Pinterest is also looking for possible partnerships with more eCommerce platforms to enable more retailers to have the opportunity to sell their products through PINterest. For PINs that are buyable, Pinterset will have the “Buy” button in blue next to the “PIN” button in red. Some of the retailers, to name a few, that pinners can buy from, are Macy’s and Nordstrom.

This opens up a lot of business opportunities for business owners. Business owners may consider doing the following to ensure that they make the most of this opportunity of converting potential buyers into paying customers by combining Pinterest & SEO as below:

1. Enable buying through PINterest

2. Increase visibility on PINterest by following, engaging, and attracting.

3. Pinterest & SEO: Optimize the content of the PINs by providing persuasive content, great pictures with descriptions, special offers, price, links to the source site, and the most important of all a great caption title. In short, following the SEO best practices will help businesses get extra mileage with their PINs.

Not only do businesses get a free platform like PINterest, they get to display their products and sell without incurring any additional costs! What more can any business owner ask for?

Seems like a win-win situation for all parties.

I can’t wait to start buying my favourite PINs. What about you? ‘

Do you thing the combination of Pinterest & SEO will help businesses make their services and products get more visibility?

The internet has been a great source of interest to me. I have been involved with website promotions and SEO since the late 90s. Those days SEO was not as well-known or wasn't really the top priority for most businesses. The whole SEO concept was still at its nascent stage. It is interesting how SEO has evolved over the past decade. My objective of setting up this website is to share my experiences and help your business attain a higher visibility on the internet.
